Falvey Cargo Underwriting, a privately held marine cargo insurance firm currently located in Wakefield, Rhode Island, has selected E.W. Burman of Warwick, Rhode Island, and Vision 3 Architects of Providence, Rhode Island, to design and build a new, 35,000 s.f. office building on a waterfront site at Kiefer Park in Quonset, Rhode Island.
Falvey Cargo Underwriting, will occupy the third floor of the three-story building, with the first two floors being available for leasing. The proposed design, which was recently approved by the Quonset Design Review Committee (QDC), features large expanses of glass and a dramatic third floor balcony which are designed to maximize the spectacular views of Narragansett Bay and the Jamestown Bridge. Construction is expected to begin late summer/early fall of this year.
