The 90,000sf state-of-the-art medical center and office building is the new home of University Orthopedics and is the first commercial development project located in the Kettle Point development in East Providence.
The new facility showcases Smart Building Technology integrated with the highest level of interior fit-out and finishes. An Ambulatory Surgical Center, state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging (MRI, X-ray and EOS low radiation X-ray) and physical therapy/rehabilitation facilities are some of the services included in the building.
The second floor is devoted entirely to orthopedic surgery, housing six operating rooms and three procedure rooms while the fourth floor contains a rehabilitation gym and therapy space serving high school, college, and professional athletes.
The facility includes administrative offices, waiting areas, treatment centers, and associated support staff areas. Specialty pods include: urgent care, spine, joint, foot/ankle, sports/shoulder, hand, and pediatric. Imaging suites include 8 X-rays and MRI.
