A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 12 for the addition of a sixth operating room (OR) at South County Hospital’s Surgical Services Pavilion. Slated to be the largest SCH OR, it will accommodate growing surgical demand, and will be used primarily for surgeries that require more space, such as total joint replacement and spine surgery. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of September.
