The Hotel Providence, featuring 80 guestrooms, a 150-seat restaurant, ballroom and meeting facilities, is this city’s first European-style boutique hotel. Nestled in the heart of historic, downtown Providence’s Arts and Entertainment District at 311 Westminster St. at the corner of Mathewson Street, the property’s 80 guestrooms include 17 suites. All guestroom furnishings include queen- or king-sized beds (some four-posters), armories of tiger maple, and over sized desks with ergonomic chairs.
The Hotel Providence will also offer the 2,200-square-foot Tilden Thurber Ballroom, as well as three additional conference rooms cumulatively offering an additional 2,050 square feet of flexible meeting space. The building itself has been lovingly restored to preserve its turn-of-the-century flavor, and is set within a neighborhood designated on the National Register of Historic places.
