Project Description

Burman was contracted for the design-build construction of a 14,000sf charter school serving children in Kindergarten through Grade 5.  The building consists of nine classrooms, a large multi-purpose room, restrooms, administrative areas, a mechanical room an outdoor play areas

Burman was instrumental in working with state and local officials in obtaining all required approvals and permits for the new facility while fast-tracking certain aspects of the project to meet the accelerated construction schedule required to accomodate the incoming class of 2004.

Installation of a new alternative technology septic system—Pressurized Shallow Narrow Drainfield and a 100′ deep water well with onsite storage tank were required due to the buildings rural location.
