Project Description

E.W. Burman was contracted to renovate the RITBA Administrative Building in Jamestown, RI. We had to carefully demolish portions of the existing building and construct two additions to the ends of the existing building.  Renovations of the interior and exterior of the building systems we also completed. Site improvements, parking lot improvements and storm water management improvements were also included.

This project was unique as portions of the existing building remained in operation during construction activities.  The public was also allowed parking spaces and access to the site. We also had to maintain all electrical and mechanical systems, which were in continuous use during the construction period.  E.W. Burman finished this project two months ahead of schedule.
